Etan applies deep reinforcement learning to real-world economic problems, such as bargaining and pricing.

He is also a professor in the Operations, Information and Decisions department at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Etan holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and an A.B. from Brown University.
