Chad is a data scientist with 6 years of quantitative research experience. His academic research was identifying, classifying, and characterizing materials using high-dimensional chemical data. He is passionate about finding insights from messy data and communicating through impactful visualization.

Before joining Arena, Chad was an R&D scientist at a 3D printing startup, Black Buffalo 3D, where he designed 3D printing material and developed print path generation software.

Chad holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT.
